20251125 14062200 1.0 FGDC 001 500000 5000 TRUE <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>National Wetland Inventory (NWI) 2023 mapping update and expanded attribution including Landscape, Landform, Water Flow Path, Waterbody (LLWW) and likely wetland functions were completed by the Colorado Natural Heritage Program for Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks lands in Boulder County, Colorado. Mapping updates were funded through a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Wetland Program Development Grant.</SPAN></P><P /><P><SPAN>Original features were developed for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) program. Gabrielle Smith with the Colorado Natural Heritage Program (CNHP) updated the original NWI mapping to reflect current wetland locations and incorporate field data collected by Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) staff during the 2024 growing season. Sarah Marshall (CNHP) reviewed the mapping and attributed the updated NWI mapping with Landscape, Landform, Water Flow Path, and Waterbody (LLWW) classification and modifiers, as well as likely wetland functions.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) staff perform ongoing updates to reflect current conditions.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> OSMP Wetland and Riparian Areas -105.311937 -105.110307 40.178306 39.876815 0 CNHP provided the final version of the wetland and riparian map in 2025. Data were mapped for a project area including OSMP lands.
