Wetlands in this dataset are symbolized by their regulatory status as well as their category.<\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P> Regulatory Status<\/SPAN><\/P> Regulated wetlands are either those currently regulated by the City's Planning and Development Services department, or those that are proposed and awaiting application acceptance. Non-Regulatory wetlands are those that are mapped outside City limits.<\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P> Category<\/SPAN><\/P> Wetlands are categorized as either \"High Functioning\" or \"Low Functioning\". Wetlands that are regulated <\/SPAN>and <\/SPAN>high functioning have a 25' inner buffer and 25' outer buffer totaling 50' of buffered regulatory space where development is restricted and/or regulated. Wetlands that are regulated and low functioning only have a 25' inner buffer where development activities are restricted.<\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P>
