Service Description: Activities contained in this feed include inspection results, notification details, clean up specifics, and weights of debris collected from clean up activities.
Inspection Results: SAMPS team members must confirm that an unsanctioned campsite still exists as described by the report. Once they confirm its existence and close any duplicate reports, they visually inspect camps from a safe distance. Each unsanctioned campsite is scored based on staff observations, and that prioritization score helps staff figure out which areas are more important to respond to first.
Notification: Residents of an unsanctioned campsite have 72 hours to vacate upon being handed a notice by staff. If an encampment is devoid of people or personal property, then staff skip this step and proceed to clean up.
Clean Up: Between 3-14 days after notification, the SAMPS team cleans the reported site and logs details about the clean up, including whether a camp resident's property was taken and stored.
Weigh Ins: After clean ups, staff dispose of all the collected debris and weighs the contents. None of this stream is personal property.
