Service Description:

There are seven fire stations within Boulder. Station 1 is located near 13th and Portland, and mainly serves central Boulder. It is the station with the highest call volume of any station in Boulder. Station 2 is located near Broadway and Baseline and mainly serves the University area. This station and Station 4 (located at Darley and Broadway in South Boulder), will be relocated in the next 5-7 years. A model to determine the best location for these new stations is available here.

Station 3 is currently located at the corner of 30th and Arapahoe, but a new facility is being constructed about 10 blocks north near 30th and Bluff. Station 5 serves North Boulder from its location near 19th and Violet, while Station 7 serves East Boulder from 55th and Arapahoe.

Station 6 is located on Lookout Rd in Gunbarrel.
