The table will also contain information on the type of incident and severity. All incidents that cannot be geocoded are placed at the same coordinates outside of Boulder near Bear Peak; these records might still have time information, but the input to the geocoder were not sufficient to find a valid location on the map.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>There are three main types of incident response times:</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>- </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Processing time</SPAN><SPAN>: The elapsed time between call pickup and call assignment</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>- </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Turnout time</SPAN><SPAN>: The elapsed time between call assignment and the fire/ambulance unit being en-route.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>- </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Travel time</SPAN><SPAN>: The elapsed time between the unit being en-route to arrival on the scene</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>The data in this service are updated via a scheduled process that pulls response information from a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, geocodes the records to the location of the incident, and stores the results in the City's enterprise geodatabase.
