Description: GPS data collection of prairie dog activitiy on OSMP land that originates in 1996.These data was updated in 2012 to include an "Activity" subtype of either Inactive (1) if there is no record of the colony after it is once active, or Active (2) if the colony is globally positioned by a Wildlife Ecologist. Prairie Dog Identifiers are PD_ID and make up 164 colonies as of 2019 fall data collection. OSMP Prairie Dog Colonies feature class is updated annually and is available through the city's open data portal.
